Open Water Swimming Career
- he participated in the 2014 Winter Swimming Championships in Finland where he competed in the 450m endurance swim
- he completed a crossing of the Strait of Gibraltar on 12 August 2000 in 5 hours 35 minutes at the age of 39, starting from Lanchones, Spain
- he completed a crossing of the English Channel in 2006
- he finished 48th in the 1 km race on 1 January 2017 in the Ice Swimming Aqua Sphere World Championships in Burghausen, Germany.
