- Willard completed the 37 km (23-mile) la Descente ou remontée du Saguenay in 13 hours 10 minutes from Chicoutimi to Bagotville in Quebec, Canada in 1964.
- Willard completed the 37 km (23-mile) la Descente ou remontée du Saguenay in 9 hours 25 minutes from Chicoutimi to Bagotville in Quebec, Canada in 1964 on 9 July 1966.
- Willard completed the 15-mile Lac Simone professional marathon swim in Quebec, Canada.
- Willard completed the 37 km (23-mile) la Descente ou remontée du Saguenay in 8 hours 24 minutes in 1967 despite being 30 years older than many of his professional competitors.
