Kedia Ritu Kishor is an open water swimmer, a chemical engineer and entrepreneur from India who successfully completed 4 marathon swims and 2 Oceans Seven channels within a span of 26 days when Kedia was 18 years old.
Open Water Swimming
- On 17 July 2007, she crossed the 14.4 km Strait of Gibraltar from Spain to Morocco in 3 hours 59 minutes at the age of 17.
- On 5 August 2007, she completed the 26.4 km International Self-Transcendence Marathon Swim in 10 hours 50 minutes 42 seconds at the age of 17 in the 20th 26 km Sri Chinmoy International Marathon.
- On 11 August 2007, she crossed the English Channel from England to France in 15 hours 50 minutes, winning the Graeme Thompson Memorial Cup for being the youngest channel swimmer of the year.
- Along with her sister Barkha, they became the 1st sister pair in Asia and 4th in the world to cross the English Channel
- She completed a crossing of the Toroneous Gulf (20 July 2007) finishing third in 9 hours 51 minutes the 37th 26 km International Championship of Toroneous Gulf organized by the Greek government
- She is planning the 3 Swim Challenge for Rotary's End Polio Now Campaign
- She is planning to swim the Palk Strait from Sri Lanka to India.
- She won the 16.1 km Fortune Bangla Channel Swimming across the Bangla Channel in the Bay of Bengal in Bangladesh on 10 March 2016 in 3 hours 40 minutes.
- She received the 2016 Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award in the Water Category.
