Ronald Claes

Ronald Claes is a swimming coach who trains Chris Bryan, a professional marathon swimmer from Ireland, at Swim Ireland’s Limerick High Performance Centre.
Claes is based full time out of the University Arena Pool at UL. He is a former Belgium swimmer and coach and the head coach for the Flemish Swimming federation and for the Royal Belgian Swimming Federation at the 2005 European Youth Olympic festival and at the 2006 and 2007 European Junior Championships in Mallorca and Antwerp respectively. As well as his considerable coaching experience, Claes has been an active swimmer for over 20 years with three Belgian swimming clubs, winning multiple medals at several Belgian Championships.
