Open Water Swimming Career
- He won the 2014 Coquina Key Invitational Swim, a 7 km circumnavigational swim around Coquina Key, a small residential island in St. Petersburg surrounded by Tampa Bay on the east
- He competed in the 7-mile 2015 Swim Around Lido Key in Florida, finishing fourth overall
- He won the men's division in the 2015 24-mile Tampa Bay Marathon Swim in Florida
- He competed in the 2015 Tampa Bay Frogman Swim in Florida
- He competed in the 2014 Swim Around Charleston in South Carolina
- In 2016, he finished second in the 28.5-mile (45.8 km) 20 Bridges, a Circumnavigation Swim of Manhattan in New York in 7 hours 4 minutes.
- On 15 September 2017, he completed a crossing of the Catalina Island in 10 hours 12 minutes 58 seconds.
- He won the 2.4-mile 2018 Sand Key Open Water Swim on 10 March 2018 in 51:27.6.
- Between 25-28 April 2018, he completed all four stage swims of the SCAR Swim Challenge in Arizona (9.5-mile or 15.2 km Saguaro Lake + 9-mile or 14.4 km Canyon Lake + 17-mile or 27.3 km Apache Lake + 6.2-mile or 10 km Roosevelt Lake), finishing 6th overall at the age of 52 in a cumulative time of 16 hours 17 minutes 44.6 seconds.
- He finished second in the Saguaro Lake crossing in 3 hours 22 minutes 56.9 seconds on 25 April 2018.
- On 4 September 2020, he finished a 34.1 km crossing of Lake Tahoe in 11 hours 22 minutes 12 seconds.
- On 7 June 2021, he completed a 19.6 km crossing from the California mainland to Anacapa Island in the California Channel Islands in 6 hours 22 minutes.
