Seymour Swim
Lake Seymour is a lake is located in the town of Morgan in Orleans County, Vermont, an area known as the Northeast Kingdom. The lake was named for Israel Seymour, one of the original grantees. It is the second largest natural lake in Vermont. It is one of only two deep, cold, and oligotrophic lakes in the Clyde River system; it is 3 miles (4.8 km) long and 2 miles (3.2 km) wide shaped like a giant number "7".
Open Water Swimming
Lake Seymour is site of the Seymour Swim, a 6.2-mile (10 km) marathon swimming competition organized by Phil White of the Northeast Kingdom Open Water Swimming Association (NEKOWSA). The event is part of the Swim The Kingdom event organized by Phil White of the Northeast Kingdom Open Water Swimming Association (NEKOWSA).

18 July 2015: Willoughby Tri - 7-mile mountain bike, 1.2-mile swim, 2.5-mile trail run to the finish at the summit of Mount Pisgah (in that order)

1 August 2015: Aquaman Even Up - 3.5-mile swim, 34-mile bike, 13.1-mile run

22 August 2015: Echo Lake Road Race & Swim, an adjustable stage triathlon - 5- or 10-mile run + 5- or 10-mile bike + 1- or 3-mile swim
