Sheena Paterson (1954 - 2014) was the former vice president of the Irish Long Distance Swimming Association and a long-time volunteer and Observer with the Irish Long Distance Swimming Association.

Copeland Island Swim

The 2015 Copeland Island Swim was conducted in memory of Sheena Patterson (1954 – 2014) who was the first female to swim the 3.5 km race. The Copeland Island Swim is a 3.5 km open water swim sanctioned by the Irish Long Distance Swimming Association.
