Taishin Minamide (南出大伸 in Japanese, born in 13 April 1996) is a 25-year-old Japanese pool swimmer and a two-time Olympic open water swimmer.

Open Water Swimming Highlights

• He finished ninth in the 2017 Australian Open Water Swimming Championships 10 km marathon swim on Brighton Beach in Adelaide.
• He finished 51th on the 2018 FINA/HOSA Marathon Swim World Series pro circuit on the Doha, Qatar leg on 17 March 2018.
• He won the 5 km race at the 2018 Asian Open Water Championship in Bangsaen Beach in Chonburi, Thailand on 24 February 2018.
• He won the 10 km race at the 2018 Asian Open Water Championship in Bangsaen Beach in Chonburi, Thailand on 25 February 2018.
• He won the 10 km race at the 2018 Japan Open Water Swimming National Championships in Tateyama Hojo Coast, Japan on 23 September 2018.
• He competed in the FINA Olympic Marathon Swim Qualifier for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in Setúbal Bay, Portugal on 19 June 2021 and qualified for the 2020 Olympic 10K Marathon Swim in Tokyo, finishing 6th in 2:02:29.70.
• On 15 October 2017, he competed in the 10 km finishing in 1:32:04.20 at the FINA/HOSA 10km Marathon Swimming World Cup in China at the age of 21.
• On 15 February 2020, he finished 36th in the 10 km in 1:50:13.90 at the FINA/CNSG Marathon Swim World Series in Qatar at the age of 23.
• On 9 November 2018, he finished 32nd in the 10 km in 1:54:15.00 at the FINA/Hosa Marathon Swim World Series in the UAE at the age of 22.
• On 16 June 2018, he finished 29th in the 10 km in 1:56:54.40 at the FINA/HOSA Marathon Swim World Series in Lake Balaton, Hungary at the age of 22.
• On 17 March 2018, he finished 51st in the 10 km in 1:56:07.00 at the FINA/HOSA Marathon Swim World Series in Qatar at the age of 21.
• On 5 August 2021, he finished 13th in the Olympic 10K Marathon Swim in Odaiba Marine Park in Tokyo Bay at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
• On 26 June 2022, he will participate in the mixed 6 km relay in Lake Lupa, Hungary at the 2022 FINA World Championships.
