Team Poseidon and Team Neptune on 21 September 2019 before crossing the 32.3 km Catalina Channel

Team Poseidon is an American relay representing Swim Long Beach in Long Beach, California that completed a 32.3 km tandem relay crossing of the Catalina Channel from Santa Catalina Island to the Southern California mainland in 9 hours 55 minutes on 21-22 September 2019 with the following team members: Jeff Wheeler, Brian Kelley, Steve Sanchez, Tess Parkhouse, Jose Villa and Tina Weidenkeller who swam concurrently with Team Neptune that included Sam Fandrich, Mike Tran, Dave O’Neil, Devon Beebe, Fred Gilbert, and Gerry Parker.
