Tim Davies is an open water swimmer and event organizer from the UK.

Open Water Swimming Highlights

He serves as the chairman of the Lake Geneva Swimming Association, an organization that he co-founded with Ben Barham.
He served as the observer for the 2-person 69 km relay of Kate Mason (Australia) and Julia Aston (Great Britain) across Lake Geneva under the auspices of the Lake Geneva Swimming Association in 28 hours 12 minutes 56 seconds under the escort of pilots Gerad and Marie Claire.
He was a member of Commotion on the Ocean, the 82nd successful relay team across the 20.2-mile Catalina Channel in California. Under the auspices of the Catalina Channel Swimming Federation, Commotion on the Ocean completed a 14 hour 11 minute 26 second crossing from the California mainland to Catalina Island on 7 August 2012. The team included Julian Rusinek (U.S.A.), Ben Barham (United Kingdom), Peter Hayden (U.S.A.), Vanessa Mesia (U.S.A.), Davies, and Karl Jacobs (U.S.A).
He swam across the 33.5 km English Channel as part of a 6-man relay in 2009 with a team named The Heroic Six.
He swam across the 33.5 km English Channel as part of a 4-man relay in 2014 with a team named YOBS.
He swam across Lake Geneva as part of a 6-man relay in 2017 with a team named Swim for West Papua.

Lake Geneva Swimming Association

The Lake Geneva Swimming Association organizes three events:

2. LGSA Classique or the 13 km La Traversée Internationale du Lac Léman à la nage (or The International Swim across Lake Geneva
3. Escape Léman or the Swim across Lake Geneva which offers 6.2 km, 1.5 km, 750m and 200m lake swims
