From Openwaterpedia
The Travesía Peniche islas Berlengas was a 10 km solo swim by Miguel Arrobas and Pieter Christian Jongeneel Anderica in Portugal in 2010. This 10 km swim was from Peniche (Playa de Baleal) to the island of Berlengas in rough seas caused by the nortadas (winds from the Azores) in t14°C water where many cangrejos rojos (red crabs) swam on the surface of the water.
