Wen-Erh Hsu is a 31-year-old open water swimmer from Taipei, Taiwan.

Open Water Swimming Highlights

On 29 July 2026, she completed a 35 km crossing of the North Channel from Northern Ireland to Scotland in 12 hours 46 minutes 40 seconds with escort pilot Jacqueline McClelland of infinity Channel Swimming and observer Leon Reed.
On 15 July 2025, she completed a 20 km Swim Öresund crossing from Sweden to Denmark in 7 hours 11 minutes 2 seconds.
She completed a 10 km open water swim in Thailand.
She swam the 14.4 km Strait of Gibraltar from Spain to Morocco in 6 hours 3 minutes in 15 October 2023 at the age of 29.
She completed the 15 km Cold Half Extreme Marathon Swim in Hong Kong on 4 February 2024 in 5 hours 11 minutes at the age of 29.
She swam 16.9 km across Lake Windermere in England in 5 hours 17 minutes on 20 June 2024.
She swam the 33.5 km English Channel from England to France in 12 hours 17 minutes on 19 July 2024.
She swam the 32.3 km Catalina Channel from Santa Catalina Island to Palos Verdes Peninsula in Southern California in 13 hours 21 minutes on 27 August 2024.
She swam on a 33.5 km English Channel 6-person relay in 12 hours 8 minutes in 2024.
She swam on a 33.5 km English Channel 5-person relay in 12 hours 24 minutes in 2024.
She completed a 45.9 km 20 Bridges Swim around Manhattan Island in New York City in 9 hours 5 minutes to achieve the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming at the age of 30 on 21 October 2024.
She created and organizes the Taiwanese Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming, a series of three solo unassisted marathon swims in Taiwan:
- 10 km Guishan Island
- 15 km Xiaoliuqiu Island
- 35 km Green Island to Taiwan mainland
On 14 December 2025, she completed the first 11.16 km channel crossing from Xiǎo Liúqiú to the Taiwanese mainland in 7 hours 24 minutes.
