Zoe Sadler
Zoe Sadler is a 44-year-old British open water swimmer from Bramley, Tadley Hampshire, UK. She serves as the Honorary Recorder of the British Long Distance Swimming Association.
Marathon Swimming Career
- She completed a solo swim of the English Channel on 23 July 2012 in 16 hours 0 minutes. She swam under the Channel Swimming & Piloting Federation and was escorted by Neil Streeter in Suva.
- She completed a two-way crossing of Windermere on 20 August 2013 (21 miles) in 13 hours 40 seconds. She was escorted by Colin Hill from Chillswim.
- She completed a Round Jersey solo on 18th July 2015 in 11 hours 55 minutes. She was escorted by Matthew Clarke in Lionheart.
- She completed the BLDSA One Way Windermere swim on 1 September 2012 (10.5 miles) in 6 hours 29 minutes.
- She participated in four successful relays across the English Channel. She was a member of the Over from Dover and The Pancrequatics English Channel Relay teams in 2011, the 3 person "Charity Channel Challenge" relay team in June 2013 and the 3 person "Castaways" relay team in September 2014.
- She completed multiple 10 km marathon swims in the UK between 2011 and 2015.
- She participated in the BLDSA Colwick Park 2013 and 2015 events.
- She was the 2012 and 2015 BLDSA Champion of Champions.
- She completed the 2015 BLDSA 2 way Bala crossing.
- She completed a one-way Windermere crossing on 31st August 2015 (10.5 miles) in 7 hours 12 minutes.
- She participated in the 45.8 km 20 Bridges Manhattan Island Swim in New York on 30 June 2018.
