- On 8 October 2011, he completed the 15 km Clean Half Extreme Marathon Swim in Hong Kong in 5 hours 26 minutes 3 seconds at the age of 44.
- On 5 August 2012, he completed the 26.4 km Sri Chinmoy Self-Transcendence Marathon Swim in Switzerland in 11 hours 36 minutes 39 seconds at the age of 45.
- In 2012, the completed the 10 km Vladswim Balmoral Challenge in Australia in 2 hours 58 minutes 22 seconds.
- On 23 February 2013, he completed the 19.7 km Rottnest Channel Swim in Western Australia in 6 hours 57 minutes 55 seconds at the age of 45.
- On 5 July 2013, he completed a crossing of the English Channel from England to France in 11 hours 43 minutes at the age of 46.
- On 21 February 2015, he completed the 19.7 km Rottnest Channel Swim in Western Australia in 7 hours 32 minutes 3 seconds at the age of 47.
- On 7 September 2016, he completed a 32.3 km crossing of the Catalina Channel from Santa Catalina Island to the Southern California mainland in 10 hours 6 minutes 15 seconds at the age of 49.
- On 30 June 2018, he became the first person from Slovakia to complete the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming with his completion of the 20 Bridges Manhattan Island Swim at the age of 52.
