Syo Azuma (あづましょう, 東　翔) is a swimming coach, designer, and an open water swimmer with the Daichi International Aquatics, founded by Daichi Suzuki, Ph.D.

Open Water Swimming Highlights

• On 8 July 2024, he completed a 19.5 km crossing of the Tsugaru Channel from Aomori to Hokkaido in 12 hours 15 minutes 13 seconds.
• He won the Japanese national championships in 10 km and represented Japan at the FINA World Championships.
• 26歳。元オープンウォータースイミング（OWS）日本チャンピォン、世界OWS選手権元日本代表。競泳選手からOWSに転向しタイトルを独占。スイミングクラブで指導経験あり。
• He co-created Mahi-Mahi-kun (まひまひクン), a virtual sticker character on Line together with Chie Saito.
