Aart Looye

Aart Looye (born 9 May 1944 in the Netherlands) is a swimming coach, community activist, and spin instructor from British Columbia, Canada. Looye arrived in Canada as a young child and lived in Alberta for 22 years prior to coming to White Rock 11 years ago to look after his aging parents.

- Recipient of the Queen’s Jubilee Medal for over 40 years of community service
