Cedar Island 5K Swim

Cedar Island 5K Swim is a tidal-assisted 5 km open water swimming charity swim in Avalon, New Jersey.
One of America's Top 100 Open Water Swims, it is held in August in the backbays and starts at 4 pm on a Sunday afternoon with a great post-race party and buffet.
Course
The swim starts and finishes at Avalon Yacht Club with a course that is designed to be going with the tide throughout the event. It is a self-timed charity event that benefits the Wounded Warrior Project, Team Semper Fi, Philadelphia Comfort Home, and American Legion Post #331.
