Elephant Butte Open Water Swim

Elephant Butte Open Water Swim is an open water swimming competition in Elephant Butte, New Mexico and is one of America's Top 100 Open Water Swims.
The 1.5-mile swim sanctioned by U.S. Masters Swimming is held in the historic Elephant Butte lake and state park. The event is held immediately following the swim portion of Dam It Triathlon. Elephant Butte State Park is the largest lake in New Mexico (most of the time).
