Eugene (Gino) Hanrahan is an American open water swimmer from Santa Monica, California and a Deputy District Attorney. Hanrahan has completed two Oceans Seven channels and achieved the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming.

Open Water Swimming Highlights

On 25 August 2007, he completed a 33.8 km crossing of the English Channel from England to France in 11 hours 21 minutes at the age of 40.
On 11 July 2010, he finished 12th in the 8.4 km Semana Nautica race in Santa Barbara, California in 2 hours 5 minutes 58 seconds.
On 26 August 2016, he completed a 32.3 km crossing of the Catalina Channel from Santa Catalina Island to the Southern California mainland in 9 hours 36 minutes 46 seconds at the age of 49.
On 8 July 2018, he finished 2nd in the 8.4 km Semana Nautica race in Santa Barbara, California in 2 hours 12 minutes 32 seconds at the age of 50.
On 14 July 2018, he finished 4th in the 45.9 km 20 Bridges Manhattan Swim in New York City in 7 hours 26 minutes 40 seconds at the age of 51, completing the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming.
