The 1500 meter swim will be a straight shot down the harbor to finish on the beach at King Park in the shadow of the statue of Rochambeau. Post event festivities will take place in the park, including the awards ceremony and the appropriate post swim fare. The event is limited to 400 participants.
Newport Sharkfest® has a cutoff time of 50 minutes and an expected water temperature of ~63-67°F.
