Nubble Light Challenge

The Nubble Light Challenge is a 2.4-mile point-to-point open water swimming competition in York, Maine, United States of America. The event takes place around the Nubble Lighthouse on Long Sands Beach and is partly held in the "gut", the channel between the lighthouse island and the mainland. The race finishes with a sprint to Short Sands Beach. It is one of America's Top 100 Open Water Swims.
Charity Swim
Proceeds from the charity swim benefit the Maine Chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, specifically programs in the local area that help children and families affected by mental illnesses.
