Course
One long continues triangle duplicating the IRONMAN Branson course! A kayak will lead the race around the course like a little pipe piper.
• 500-yard racers will swim clockwise to circle their specially marked buoys and return to the shore via the course return toward the finish line. • 1-mile racers will swim clockwise around course once. • 2-mile racers will swim clockwise around course twice.
Regulations
Swimmers will not be allowed to wear wetsuits. Water temperature ranges from 78 to 83 degrees F. Additionally, no other swim aids (e.g. snorkels or fins) will be allowed.
Rules
All swimmers are required to wear fluorescent swim caps for safety reasons. Caps will be provided to all swimmers.
Safety
A minimum of 10 safety boats will be positioned throughout the course during the event. Each safety boat will be equipped with flotation devices for swimmers who need assistance.
