Tallchief Open Water Challenge

Tallchief Open Water Challenge is a 1-mile, 2-mile open water swimming competition held in Camp Tallchief, north of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, USA, outside of Tulsa. Proceeds benefit the Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma Camp Tallchief Scholarship Fund and Tulsa Masters Swim Club. Wetsuits are allowed, but those wearing wetsuits will not be included in the awards. Anticipated water temperature is 80ºF (26.6ºC).

It is one of America's Top 100 Open Water Swims.

Course

The swim course is an out-and-back course marked by large regatta buoys. The 0.5-mile swimmers swim out 1/4 mile and return to the finish. The 1-mile swimmers swim one full lap of the entire course. The 2-mile swimmers swim 2 laps of the entire course.
