Koroni

Koroni or Corone is a town and a former municipality in Messenia, Peloponnese, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Pylos-Nestoras, of which it is a municipal unit.
Open Water Swimming
It is site of the annual Swimming Marathon of the Messinian Gulf, a 30 km race between Kalamata and Koroni.
