noun - SwiMetrics is a technology and methodology is measure the velocity of every swimming motion of pool and open water swimmers and triathletes in the water. In measuring the acceleration and deceleration of one's limbs, a coach and swimmer can better understand a swimmer's strengths and weaknesses. It was also used to research drafting positions for open water swimmers and triathletes.
