Dharmatar

Dharamtar port is on the right bank of the Amba river and is 10 miles (16 km) from its mouth. It is 25.9 km (16.1 mi) away from Nhava Sheva with road and sea links, to Nhava Sheva and Mumbai ports in Maharastra, India.

Dharmatar is one point of the Gateway of India channel swim (Gateway to India Challenge) that is a 21.97-mile (35.3 km) marathon swim in Mumbai Harbour that has been completed by the following swimmers:

- Aditya Santosh Raut, 70 km two-way crossing on 24 November 2002 between the Gateway of India and Dharmatar in 21.28 hours at age of 9 years
