Okuda Yumiko
Okuda Yumiko (奥田由美子(おくだ ゆみこ) is a Japanese open water swimmer who completed two relay crossings of the Tsugaru Channel in Japan from Honshu to Hokkaido.

First relay crossing of the Tsugaru Channel was accomplished on 16 July 2014 in 9 hours 19 minutes together with Kawasaki Noriko (河崎典子(かわさき のりこ), Shima Akira (島晃(しま あきら), Shima Etsuko (島悦子(しま えつこ), Morita Shinya (森田伸也(もりた しんや), and Yamamoto Takeshi (山本毅(やまもと たけし).
Team Yajyu Tsugaru Channel Crossing
Second relay crossing of the Tsugaru Channel was with チーム野獣 or Team Yajyu (meaning Team Beast in English), a 6-person Japanese open water swimming team that crossed the Tsugaru Channel from Honshu to Hokkaido on 26 July 2016 under the auspices of Ocean Navi and the escort of pilot Captain Mizushima of Tappi Misaki in Aomori Prefecture. Its members included 1st Tomonari Ogino (荻野 智成), 2nd Miho Yonezawa (米沢 美穂), 3rd (Akiko Niide (新出 亜希子), 4th Takeshi Yamamoto (山本 毅), 5th Yumiko Okuda (奥田 由美子), and 6th Kumiko Koizumi (小泉 久美子).
