Raymond Dixon is a British open water swimmer and former escort pilot in the English Channel, currently living in Australia.

- On 11 July 1971, he completed the Maratona del Golfo Capri-Napoli from Capri to Napoli in 10 hours 14 minutes 52.
- On 5 August 1973, he completed the 32 km Traversée internationale du lac St-Jean in Quebec, Canada in 9 hours 32 minutes 45 seconds.
- On 5 September 1973, he completed a crossing of the English Channel from England to France in 10 hours 43 minutes.
- On 4 August 1974, he completed the 32 km Traversée internationale du lac St-Jean in Quebec, Canada in 9 hours 15 minutes 41 seconds.
- On 22 August 1978, he completed a crossing of the English Channel from England to France in 10 hours 43 minutes.
- On 22 February 1997, he completed the 19.7 km Rottnest Channel Swim in Western Australia in 5 hours 33 minutes 34 seconds at the age of 50.12 years.
- He competed as a professional marathon swimmer on the 1977 World Professional Marathon Swimming Federation circuit.
- On 22 August 1978, he represented Great Britain in the 4th Saudi Arab International Channel Swimming Race, placing fourth overall in 10 hours 43 minutes as the second professional swimmer.
- On 5 September 1973, he completed a 33.5 km crossing of the English Channel from England to France in 10 hours 43 minutes
- He became a top English Channel escort pilot and married fellow channel swimmer Corrie Ebbelaar who set a new English Channel record in 10 hours 43 minutes in 1971.
- He participated in the Hetzel's Texas Volunteers English Channel relay with Tom Hetzel, Norman Trusty, Corrie Ebbelaar Dixon, and Dillys Benyon.
- He won the Centenary Cup by crossing the English Channel in 1978.
- He is a member of the Half Century Club and 2-time English Channel swimmer.
- He was part of the two-way (England-to-France-to-England) Hetzel's Texas Volunteers relay that set a two-way record across the English Channel in 17 hours 50 minutes in 1974. They completed the first leg from England to France in 8 hours 51 minutes and the second leg from France to England in 8 hours 59 minutes.
