William Smith UK is a 37-year-old British open water swimmer from London.

Open Water Swimming Highlights

• On 11 August 2023, he set the course record for a 23.5 km crossing of Lake Malawi in Africa in 7 hours 42 minutes 47 seconds from Makanjila to Senga in Malawi at the age of 35.
• On 22 March 2023, he completed a 20.5 km crossing of the Sea of Galilee in 7 hours 42 minutes from North to South at the age of 35.
• On 22 September 2023, he completed a 12 hour 51 minute 33.5 km crossing of the English Channel from England to France at the age of 36.
• On 26 January 2024, he completed a 23 km crossing of the Cook Strait from South Island to North Island in 8 hours 45 minutes at the age of 36.
• On 1 October 2024, he completed a 32.3 km crossing of the Catalina Channel from Santa Catalina Island to Palos Verdes Peninsula in 15 hours 45 minutes at the age of 36.
