Kate Robarts

Kate Robarts (born 1961) is a British open water swimmer and channel swimmer from Cornwall who is a member of the Half Century Club and the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming.
Open Water Swimming Career Highlights
- She swam from Jersey to France on 8 September 2019 in 9 hrs 42 minutes, at the age of 58. She was escorted by Matthew Clarke on Lionheart.
- She swam Jersey to France again on 3rd August 2021, aged 59, in 9 hrs 34 minutes, escorted again by Matt Clarke and Lionheart.
- She completed the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming with her 10 hour 9 minute 56 second circumnavigation swim in the 45.8 km 20 Bridges Manhattan Island Swim in New York on 30 June 2018 at the age of 56.
- She completed the Colonia Classic 10 km Es Trenc buoy course in Mallorca, on 31st May 2018, in 3 hours 33 minutes.
- She completed a swim across the Catalina Channel from Santa Catalina Island to the Southern California mainland on 28 September 2017, aged 56, in 16 hours 3 minutes 47 seconds.
- She participated in the 2017 Cork Distance Week in Cork, Ireland and then completed a 35 mile circumnavigation swim around Jersey Island on 25th July, in 10 hours 56 minutes, at the age of 55.
- On 20 August 2014, she completed a solo crossing of the English Channel (E/F) in 13 hours 20 minutes at the age of 52. She swam under the Channel Swimming & Piloting Federation and was escorted by Neil Streeter in Suva.
- On 14 August 2013, she completed a 2-way solo swim of Windermere in the Lake District of England. Her 21-mile marathon swim took 14 hours 47 minutes. She was escorted by Colin Hill of Chillswim.
- On 5 June 2016, she completed the 10 km Jubilee River Swim in Eton, Great Britain in 3 hours 7 minutes 21 seconds at the age of 54.
- On 7 August 2016, she completed the 26.4 km Lake Zurich Marathon Swim in Switzerland in 11 hours 45 minutes 17 seconds at the age of 54.
- In 2010, she was part of a 3-woman relay team, with Liz Dilley and Joanne Postins in the Zurich Marathon Swim, the team finishing in 8 hours 23 minutes.
- On 6 August 2011, she participated in an English Channel relay under the auspices of the Channel Swimming & Piloting Federation" a 6-person relay called Over from Dover, finishing in 13 hours 52 minutes.
- On 18 July 2013, she completed a 4-person relay, Mondrago Bay. The team landed after 13 hours 17 minutes.
- On 16 September 2014, she participated in a 3-person relay, Castaways, with Emma France and Zoe Sadler, landing after 17 hours 46 minutes.
- On 16th September 2017, she was part of a 4 person English Channel relay, Relay McRelayface, finishing in 14 hours 43 minutes.
- She competed in the 450m winter swimming race at the 2015 Big Chill Swim at the Low Wood Bay Marina, Windermere, England in 5.4ºC water.
