Kate Brookes-Peterson (born 14 May 1984 in Kawakawa, New Zealand) is an Australian open water swimmer.

- She won Australia's first medal at the 2007 FINA World Championships with a bronze in the women's 5 km open water swimming event.
- She was coached by Australian swimming coach Ken Wood.
- On 20 March 2007, she won a bronze medal in the 10 km open water swim at the 2007 FINA World Championships at St. Kilda Beach in Melbourne, Australia.
- On 6 May 2008, she finished 8th in the 5 km open water swim at the 2008 FINA World Open Water Swimming Championships in Seville, Spain in 1:00:19.7.
- On 8 May 2008, she finished 5th in the 25 km marathon swim at the 2008 FINA World Open Water Swimming Championships in Seville, Spain in 5:28:09.9.
- On 21 July 2009, she finished 8th in the 5 km open water swim at the 2009 FINA World Championships in Ostia Beach in Rome, Italy in 57:42.7.
